PHARYNGAL contains benzydamine and chlorhexidine, a local analgesic and antiseptic. PHARYNGAL (2+0.5) mg/ml spray is used in adults and children to relieve pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat, acting against microbes and soothing discomfort.
Use this medicine as directed by the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and children over 12 years: 2-4 sprays 6-10 times a day. Children 6-12 years 1-2 sprays, 3-5 times a day. Direct at the affected area.
One ml of the solution contains: 2 mg of chlorhexidine digluconate and 0.5 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride. One press of the spray releases 0.14 ml of a solution containing 0.28 mg of chlorhexidine digluconate and 0.07 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride.
Excipients with known effect: ethanol.
