Dissolve one Protefix active cleaning tablet in a glass of lukewarm water (100ml, about 35°C) and place your denture or orthodontic brace immediately in the glass. The prosthesis or orthodontic brace must be completely immersed in the cleaning solution. Prosthesis or orthodontic braces are clean and fresh in 3 minutes, disinfected in 10 minutes. Cleaning is also possible overnight. Remove the prosthesis and rinse it well under running water before putting it back in the mouth.
Potassium caroate and sodium perborate, when in contact with water, produce hydrogen peroxide, which in alkaline solution produces active oxygen and performs the function of cleaning and disinfection. Sodium lauryl sulfate as an anionic surfactant helps remove larger particles of dirt.
