Venosan gel contains three active ingredients: heparin sodium, escin and essential phospholipids, whose activities complement each other.
Heparin sodium, due to its anticoagulant properties, improves capillary circulation, preventing the formation of microthrombi. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect because it facilitates the absorption of inflammation products. Escin improves blood flow through venous and capillary blood vessels, improves tone and normalizes the permeability of blood vessel walls. Essential phospholipids reduce blood density by acting on fat metabolism and thus stimulate blood circulation through arterioles and capillaries. They also have a protective effect on skin tissue. The action of the active substances of Venosan gel, supported by a specially selected formulation of excipients (auxiliary ingredients), results in an effective therapeutic effect on peripheral venous and arterial circulation and perivascular tissues.
Venosan gel is used as a local treatment for venous and microvascular changes in the extremities, with symptomatic relief of accompanying signs and symptoms such as bruising, bruising, swelling, a feeling of heaviness and pain, leg cramps, etc.
Indications for the use of Venosan gel are:
Chronic venous insufficiency; Varicose veins;
Superficial thrombophlebitis;
Diabetic microangiopathy (changes in small blood vessels in diabetics);
Venous ulceration (venous wound usually in the lower leg area).
Venosan gel can also be used for soft tissue injuries, including sports injuries, such as strains/sprains and contusions (bruises).
Use the medicine as directed by the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Apply the gel 2-3 times a day in a thin layer, spreading it evenly over the skin of the affected area. Can be used under a bandage.
1 g of gel contains 100 i.u. sodium heparin, 10 mg of escin and 10 mg of essential phospholipids. Excipients with known effects: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E214), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216).
