\nXylometazoline works by narrowing the small blood vessels in the nasal mucosa (vasoconstrictive property) and thus reduces the swelling of the mucosa (decongestive effect). Lysozyme is a natural ingredient present in body secretions such as mucus, tears, saliva. Lysozyme has the properties of moisturizing and protecting the nasal mucosa. In addition, it also works in the nasal cavity by accelerating the movements and stimulating the activity of epithelial cilia (cilia), which helps to clean the nasal cavity of accumulated secretions, allergens and infectious substances. With its action, lysozyme contributes to the effectiveness of xylometazoline.
